Lorna M. Dove, MD, MPH

Dr. Dove joined the faculty at the UA Thomas D. Boyer Liver Institute in September 2026 as the Chief of Hepatology, the Medical Director of Liver Transplant, and the Director of the Boyer Liver Institute.  Dr. Dove is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. She completed fellowship programs in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Transplant Medicine.  Prior to Tucson, Dr. Dove served as a Director of Adult Liver Transplant and a Gastroenterologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell in New York, New York. She also previously served as Director of Clinical Hepatology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). She received her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She has expertise in treating gastrointestinal bleeding, cirrhosis & liver disease, upper GI endoscopy, among other conditions.
